Max Rendina to miss Rally Italia Sardegna
Doctors stopped the driver today after a medical examination. Medical staff, following the checks completed today, decided to continue the period of absolute rest for the driver.
08/07/2015 - Max Rendina will not take part in the Rally Italia Sardegna, round six of the World Rally Championship scheduled for 11 - 14 June.

The driver from Rome had been advised by Portuguese doctors to follow 21 days period of absolute rest in consequence to the incident he had last 23 May at the Rally du Portugal and the Italian driver meanwhile has undertaken some medical assessments to check if conditions were in place to restart the sporting activity.

Medical staff decided this morning to confirm the absolute rest period for the driver, in order to allow for a recover of the full physical efficiency to face the remaining part of the world season in which he is called to defend the title of World Champion of "Production Cup". Rendina will therefore be forced out of the home race that he was particularly keen of running.

Motorsportitalia's driver, compatibly with his full recover, is now focused on getting back for the Rally of Poland, scheduled for next 2-5 July.
