Entry list open for the Rally Italia Sardegna 2015
The count-down is already started as just two months are left before the Rally Italia Sardegna 2015, race scheduled from 11 to 14 June and valid as sixth round of the World Rally Championship
15/04/2015 - Entry lists have been opened for the Rally Italia Sardegna 2015, event organized by Automobile Club d'Italia Italy with the essential support of the Region Sardegna, for 11-14 June as sixth round of the World Rally Championship. The race will comprise 24 stages split in three racing days for a total of 402,88 timed km. After the publication of the Supplementary Regulations, entry lists of the race have been opened and the deadline for applications is set for next 11 May. The race is valid for the FIA Drivers World Championship, FIA Co-drivers World Championship, FIA Constructors World Championship, FIA WRC2 Teams Championship, FIA WRC2 Drivers Championship, FIA WRC2 Co-Drivers Championship, FIA WRC2 Drivers Production Cup, FIA WRC2 Co-Drivers Production Cup, FIA WRC3 Teams Championship, FIA WRC3 Drivers Championship, FIA WRC3 Co-Drivers Championship, ACI Sport Italian Gravel Trophy.

Entries must be provided through the specific forms and should include a copy of the entry fees receipt. Submission must be done through e-mail at the address info@rallyitaliasardegna.com by Monday 11 May 2015.

Edition 2015 of the Rally of Italy, race organized by Automobile Club d' Italia with the support of the Region Sardegna, features an itinerary of 402,88 timed km divided in 24 stages. The headquarters of the race will be located again in Alghero and, after the shakedown scheduled for the morning of Thursday 11 June at Bombarde, lineups will relocate to Cagliari where the opening Super Stage of 2,5km will take place in the harbour zone at local 19,30. In this edition, two laps per heat - rather than just one as last year - will take place and then the cars will go to "sleep" in Cagliari's park fermè located in the central Via Roma to be admired and photographed by fans. Drivers will set off on Friday 12 Morning with the first leg Cagliari-Alghero comprising 139,90 timed km divided in 9 stages (4 repeated twice) all located around Oristano. Two of these stages have already taken place in the past on the Mount Grighine (for a length of 26,40 and 18,70 km), while the brand new ones will be Montiferru (14,90 km) and Sagama (2,60 km). Service park will follow in Alghero, and then cars will have to go through the new spectacular stage on the sea of Sinis-Mont´ E Prama (21,10 km) that will also enjoy live TV coverage. A very tough leg will then take place on Saturday. It will comprise 10 stages (5 to be repeated twice) for a total 212,58 timed km in the basin of the Mount Acuto. The Super sage of Ittiri (1,44 km) will be followed by the Monti di Alà (21,50 km), Coiluna-Loelle (36,7 km), Monte Lerno (42,20 km) and by the Super stage at the racecourse of Chilivani (3,45 km). The final leg will take place on Sunday 14 and will comprise 45,40 timed km in 4 stages, including two passages on the new stage Monte Baranta (11 km) and two on that of Cala Flumini (11,70 km), as the latter has been confirmed as venue of the final power stage shown live on TV at 12.
